Lock Down

At our last faculty meeting, we discussed having a nylon bag to be used as an EMERGENCY Bag.  In it, you would keep important items that would be essential in an emergency.  Items such as current roster, names and contact numbers for all students, information about children who have particular health needs, etc.. I have the bags and will be putting them in your boxes today.  You may add any other items that you think might be important like band-aids, etc...  It would be a good idea also to put kids inhalers in it if there is a fire drill.  We will be having our first Lock-Down Drilll on the 21st of November at 9:30. Please be sure to practice with your children beforehand.  Be sure to talk to them about the seriousness of being as quiet as possible.  Tell them that we will rattle doors to make sure they are locked.  Make sure you have green and red laminated sheets with your room number on them.
