FYI........We haven't had bad weather yet, but it's sure to come at some point. If we have to delay or cancel school, you will receive an automated phone call – so make sure we have your correct phone number. (You can change it by logging into Human Resources' self-service at http://intranet.wsfcs.k12.nc.us/EmpNot.nsf/EmpChgPrompt?OpenForm ). If we have to cancel school, and you are school-based and/or work fewer than 12 months, look for one of these two announcements:
WS/FCS is closed . Do not come to work. The day will be made up on a scheduled makeup day.
WS/FCS is closed; optional teacher workday . These are often used if roads have started to clear but buses may not be able to travel on them yet. If you are able to drive safely, come to work as if it was a teacher workday. If you cannot come, you may use an annual leave day or make it up on a professional day scheduled later in the year.
